EMEA Deployment Lead - PwC

As part of the Chief Admin Office, you will focus on being at the forefront of implementing information technology programs and services including hardware, software, and networks that enhance security of internal information and protect our firm's intellectual assets.

The PwC Technology and Network Information Security (NIS) team at PwC is searching for talented security and technology professionals to build out a new centre of excellence in the Netherlands. 

Operating on a local, regional and global scale, Network Information Security (NIS) is responsible for the definition of our security strategy to hands on execution of our global Cyber Readiness Program, moving from predominantly local to centralised services. Global Technology is responsible for driving the adoption and operation of global IT services across the organisation.

NIS and PwC Technology are building the first global cyber security and technology function at PwC. Our mission protects 300,000 PwC members across 160 member firms worldwide as well as our global clients.

What does your work look like?

A career in Information Security, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to lead and support our internal security technologies and services across the entire global and local PwC network. As part of the Chief Admin Office, you will focus on being at the forefront of implementing information technology programs and services including hardware, software, and networks that enhance security of internal information and protect our firm's intellectual assets.

Your skills and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and monitor large, strategic cross-functional IT and Network Information Security (NIS) implementation projects partnering  Member Firms on service adoption roadmap and comprehensive change management.
  • Supporting  and maintaining multi-faceted, cross-functional programs while supervising teams to execute against the overall Network Information Security (NIS) strategy.
  • Translating Global Project Adoption Team (GPA) strategy by leading, coaching and managing others and performing work with significant independence.
  • Establish a trusted conduit for escalations and provide awareness of territory concerns, constraints and competing priorities back to the Core PMO Team.
  • Building effective relationships with key stakeholders including Territory Senior Partners, regional and local Chief Information Security Officers, local IT leadership and other customers as appropriate to facilitate effective adoption and delivery of programs.
  • Working in a complex, matrix organization with multiple stakeholders across functional and technical skill sets and managing impact of changes.
  • Conduct training sessions within members of the Global Project Adoption team, related to deployed services, as needed.
  • Driving continuous improvements to processes through identification of best practices and lessons learned to be shared within and across the other regions.
  • Managing ad-hoc requests and prioritizing own work and that of others to accomplish the goals and objectives of the team.
  • Assist in the budget review process and the delivery of key presentations for Leadership review.
  • Assist in development and implementation of appropriate Framework and Governance process for initiation and adoption of services across the region.
  • Formulate strategic reporting on deployment progress including tracking of risk areas and mitigation plans.

Who are you?

  • At least 8 years of progressive roles managing IT system/software development and project management processes;
  • Relevant Master or Bachelor degree;
  • Prior work experience across regions and within the EMEA region;
  • Highly focused in relationship building with stakeholders to facilitate effective and efficient program delivery;
  • Interpersonal skills that facilitate team building;
  • Strong problem solving and critical-thinking skills;
  • Ability to respond to challenging situations with a pragmatic approach towards solutions;
  • Experience with resource management and capacity planning.
