You will support our clients in protecting their Operational Technology landscape.

As we aim to rapidly grow our Cyber Security, Forensics & Privacy practice, we are looking for experienced consultants who are passionate about how strategy and technology can improve the role of cyber security, privacy and data protection in our digital world.

This team works on creating a more secure society for major International and local organisations. Together with 150 professionals in the Netherlands you could work on leading and cutting edge projects covering the whole scope of Cyber Security.

Responsibilities

We are searching for consultants with comprehensive cyber, advisory, technological, industrial control and sector-related experience to help our clients solve complex business problems. We are searching for individuals who can complement our team with Industrial Control System (ICS) related knowledge, the cyber threats which are impacting this Operational Technology (OT) landscape and the ways to mitigate these threats. Together with our team you will then support our clients in protecting their Operational Technology landscape.

Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of industrial environments and security vulnerabilities within these environments;
  • Solid understanding of SCADA related software and technologies (e.g. OPC);
  • Knowledge of concepts and general security issues of typical Industrial Protocols (Modbus, FieldBus, CIP, etc); 
  • Knowledge of industrial devices - PLCs, DCSs, RTUs and other network devices;
  • Knowledge of Windows OS internals and its security model;
  • Knowledge of various Linux tools (Kali, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.) and related security flaws;
  • Knowledge of various hacking techniques/approaches and common mitigation strategies is an advantage; 
  • Good knowledge of the following Standards:
    • ISA/IEC 62443
    • NIST 800-82
    • NERC CIP
    • ENISA Guidelines for ICS/SCADA Systems

Experience

  • 3 years or more experience in Industrial Security is desired;
  • Security audit and security policy review of Industrial Networks;
  • Hands-on experience with Industrial Control Systems is a strong advantage;
  • Pentesting experience is in OT environments an advantage, but optional;
  • Control & Instrumentation engineering experience is an advantage;
  • Operational maintenance experience is an advantage
  • Consulting experience is an advantage

Formal training/certification

  • Bachelor degree (or preferably higher) in one of the following fields: Engineering (industrial, mechanical or electrical), Computer Science or related areas;
  • One or more of the following professional trainings/certifications is an advantage:
    • SANS & INFOSEC courses/certifications
    • CISSP certification
    • Domain-specific certifications (GICSP, CISA, etc.)
  • Formal (certification) trainings for the relevant standards (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443, NIST 800-82, NERC CIP) is an advantage.

General qualifications:

  • Demonstrated technical prowess
  • Ability to self-learn and experiment in new areas
  • Good teamwork capabilities
  • Good presentation skills
