Senior Manager - Quantative Software Development

Your role:

Are you a (senior) quantitative software developer who is eager to merge your skills with consultancy and financial markets within a dynamic entrepreneurial setting? Zanders is looking for a senior manager in the quant development team to expand our business and offering. This is an energetic team of highly qualified professionals with extensive knowledge of financial markets (OTC derivatives & securities), programming, high performance computing, ML/AI and mathematics!

The Quant development team comprises of people with a strong open source philosophy leveraging on packages such as Strata, QuantLib and Open Risk Engine (ORE). As senior manager in this team you will get the opportunity to provide quantitative expertise to:

• Support clients in the financial sector that run our (derivatives) valuation and risk models;
• Develop the Zanders software suite for derivative valuations and risk calculations and
• Provide advice to traders and risk managers on quantitative topics

Key Responsibilities:

• Write project proposals translating client questions into solutions
• Lead project execution of quantitative model implementation at our clients
• Support the quantitative developers achieving their career goals and growth
• Provide support and advice to traders and risk managers on various quantitative topics.

Skills to be successful:

• An academic degree (MSc or PhD) in a quantitative field. Preferably (Financial) Mathematics, Econometrics or Software Engineering,
• 7-10 years of experience, with familiarity with financial markets and the most important developments. Familiarity with derivatives pricing and risk calculations is a plus,
• Strong knowledge and experience with programming languages, such as C++, Java and/or Python,
• Intention to develop yourself as a leader, inspire the team and provide creative solutions to our clients,
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English,
• Constructive attitude and pro-active team player.
